On remote fields, large engines can be used both to supply electrical power for oil and gas exploration and production or to drive mechanical equipment involved in the long and short distance piping of gas e.g. pumps and compressors. A special advantage is fuel flexibility: Our diesel engines can run readily on crude oil taken direct from wells and conditioned on site while our gas engines reliably ignite well-head gas.
