Classification of Diesel power plants:
1. According to their installation form, and can be divided into three categories:
■ Stationary Diesel Power Plants, Its can also be divided into Factory-style diesel power plants and containerized diesel power plants.
■ Mobile Diesel Power Plants, Including Vehicle-mounted power plants, Trailer type power plants, and Hand-push generator sets.
■ Marine Diesel Power Plants: including offshore platform generator sets, power barges, and marine generator sets.

2. According to the speed of generator sets, and can be classified into two categories:
■ High-Speed Diesel Power Plants, Most of them are small emergency standby power stations, with single set power ranging from a few kilowatts to several megawatts. It can be used as a single set or multiple sets in parallel according to customer needs; ATS automatic switching system can be configured as an emergency power source; It can also be made into soundproof or container type power stations. ■ Medium-Speed Diesel Power Plants, Mostly used for the peak power plant, industrial & mining power plant, island power plant, nuclear plant, and other fields. The unit power of generator sets range from 1 MW to 21 MW.
